HOWL THE OWL HERO AWARD What an honor to be presented with the "Howl the Owl" Hero Award for McKenna's work with helping others, writing her own book, and being kind! "HOWL" stands for Helping Others With Love. His mission is to promote love and kindness, and also the importance of organ donation. It was so nice to meet author Brenda Cortez, an organ donor herself. She kindly gave McKenna the Howl the Owl plush animal, lots of books to both read and donate, coloring books, t-shirt, and she even showed her a sneak peek of her cartoon releasing soon!
