Kenna's Kids was organized by 6-year old McKenna with a goal of helping children in need by making appearances, raising funds, receiving donated items, spreading awareness and inspiring others to do the same. She has written and published a children's book to promote helping others to succeed, the proceeds for which are donated to local childrens' organizations. She participates in local parades, local community day events, helps at assisted living facilities, hosted a large business-and community-sponsored lemonade stand, was featured on a WTMJ4 Positively Milwaukee segment, and has an extensive social media presence. Some of the organizations who receive donations are Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Children's Cancer, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Variety Wisconsin, Kids Matter, Inc., and Ronald McDonald Charities of Eastern Wisconsin.
